7th Grade Math Worksheets

Extend familiar calculations to signed quantities and multistep reasoning. Seventh-grade practice includes percent problems, ratios with fractional quantities, signed fraction operations, and two-step equations and inequalities.

Choose one goal for a short set: keeping the correct percent base, tracking signs, or preserving a relationship while solving. Use the answer key after checking an explanation or a substituted value.

A 20% discount followed by a 10% discount leaves 0.80 × 0.90 = 0.72 of the original price. The total reduction is 28%, because the second rate uses the reduced price.

In algebra, changing both sides in the same way preserves an equation. For an inequality, multiplying or dividing by a negative number also reverses its direction. Use the number-line graph and sample-value checks to test the solution.

Earlier whole-number and fraction levels remain useful for review. These focused selections support particular skills; they do not represent a complete seventh-grade course.
