6th Grade Math Worksheets

Connect arithmetic with ratios, number lines, and simple algebra. Sixth-grade selections include whole-number ratio tables, signed number positions, and one-step equations or comparison inequalities.

Use the shared addition and subtraction pages for decimal calculations when a learner needs that practice. Choose a targeted level rather than assuming that every available extension belongs to the same grade.

Choose your practice

Choose a useful sequence

  • Complete proportional tables using whole-number ratios.
  • Read signed integer positions from −5 to 5 on a number line.
  • Solve one-step equations with nonnegative rational values.
  • Graph comparisons such as x > 4 as sets of solutions.

For 2:3 = 4:__, both quantities must double, giving 6. For x + 7 = 19, the solution 12 can be checked in the original equality. Signed number positions are appropriate here; the signed-arithmetic and two-step algebra options are later extensions.
